Primeval: Anomalies is a new Primeval spin-off series by Tim Haines, Adrian Hodges and George Lucas slated for release in early 2012. It should be in stores by Christmas. The idea behind the series involves another ARC team being formed in New York City to fight anomalies after the Convergence sets them opening around the world. A first season with 9 episodes has been confirmed, and a 7 episode second season is in the works. Mark Everest is directing. The cast will include Shia LaBeouf as Lucas Voyage, Andrew Lee-Potts as Connor Temple, Jason O'mara as Richard Temper, Rain Phoenix as Susan Hunter, Joaquin Phoenix as Sam Bane and Freddie Highmore as Richie Temper Jr., with Ashley Zukerman as guest star Lieutenant Colonel John Ronald Force.
